Error Reasons

The veilify_* methods and Round fields describe the proposed Veilify interface. No live Veilify RPC deployment is published yet.

Errors carry error.data.reason. Clients should branch on reason, not message.

Codes

Code	Meaning
`-32601`	Method not found. Instant mode treats a missing `prepareWithdrawal` as “no preparation needed”.
`-32602`	Invalid params, usually with a `reason`
`-32603`	Internal error, or malformed response
`-32005`, `-32010`	Definitive rejection. Not a network error, so do not retry blindly.
`4001`	User rejected the request in the wallet

Request reasons

Reason	Meaning
`amount_not_available`	Amount not in the grid, and custom amounts are disabled
`withdraw_all_only_below_min`	Below the minimum; only a full withdrawal is allowed
`token_not_withdrawable`	Token not enabled for withdrawal
`recipient_not_allowed`	Recipient refused by screening
`pool_recipient`	Recipient is the pool contract
`recipient_daily_limit`	Recipient’s daily limit reached
`insufficient_balance`	Not enough veiled balance
`too_many_notes`	Needs more than six input notes; consolidate first
`amount_mismatch`	Signed amount differs from the prepared amount
`rounds_disabled`	Round mode is off
`round_not_available`	Selected round is past the cutoff or beyond the horizon
`legs_same_round`	Two staggered legs share a round
`too_many_legs`	More than `maxLegs`
`round_price_above_cap`	Gas above the Round cap; use Instant or wait
`gas_fields_changed`	Signed gas fields differ from the prepared ones
`network_fee_rose`	Fees rose since the quote
`fee_rate_changed`	Protocol fee changed since the quote
`intent_expired`	Prepared intent expired; prepare again
`nonce_in_use`	Signed nonce already reserved
`too_late_to_cancel`	The withdrawal has started sending
`screening_unavailable`	Screening service unavailable
`check_pending`	Screening still running
`prover_busy`	Prover at capacity; retry
`try_again_later`	Temporary failure; retry
`wrong_chain`	Signed for the wrong chain ID

Warnings

Returned in veilify_prepareWithdrawal → warnings. They don’t block the request.

Warning	Meaning
`recipient_is_depositor`	Recipient is the depositing address
`recipient_reused_in_group`	Same recipient used twice in a staggered exit
`withdraw_all_non_round`	Withdraw-all leaves a non-round amount
